How to Be Happy – Learn How to Use a Computer

Knowing how to use a computer can simplify and add dimensions to your life. You can manage your home, do your shopping (even shopping) online.

You can find all the information you need for a reason easily available online. The World Wide Web does not close for the night, for holidays, for bad weather.

Online, you can be anyone. Shy people turn into social butterflies. You do not even have to use your real name. You can use screen names to interact with people. And interacting with people around the world who share your interests can be very enjoyable.

I live in the United States. I met my best friend online. She lives in New Zealand. I have friends all over the United States and around the world.

If you do not know anything about computers, it can be discouraging to use one. The good news is that you do not really need to know much more than when you use a typewriter. Do you remember typewriters?

The best news is that once someone has provided you with a computer, set it up for you and shows you how to connect (just click on a special button on the current machines), you can go to a site for beginners and learn all the basics about using the computer and going online.

Even experienced users will find answers to their questions. The site offers a range of computer information for everyone, not just for beginners.

A computer opens the world to you. You can play games, chat, chat in real time, watch TV and movies. Make live video chats, free, with family and friends, anywhere in the city or around the world! Whatever you want to do – if you can not do it online, you can learn more there.

The only word of warning I have is this one – I am a MAC user and also a PC user. I love my MAC. And he is not able to do many things or run a lot of the programs I need to use my online business. So if someone tries to convince you to buy a MAC because it can do everything you need – this may be inaccurate.

Just my two cents based on my personal experience, of course.

Today, many centers for the elderly and libraries teach computer literacy. Often, they organize classes especially for the elderly. Check your local newspaper and call your library and your main center.

For those of you who do not really care about using a computer, you can buy a machine that prints your email. Only problem, you can not send answers, you can only receive emails. Getting notes from family and friends could be very nice, do not you think?
